Simco’s new minION2 bipolar DC corona ionizer is designed for use in critical assembly applications. It offers superior performance with a novel emitter array design and control circuitry in a small package. Using corona ion technology, the minION2 controls electrostatic charges cleanly, quickly, and reliably in work areas where static charge is a concern. Designed for applications where even very low levels of static charge can damage sensitive components.
The unit is capable of maintaining +/-10V balance performance. The minION2 features a fan speed control to adjust the amount of air delivered to the work surface. The patented ion emitter design provides superior ion balance and delivery using a unique geometry. Built-in control circuitry assures compliant performance. Optional external monitor capability interfaces easily with external systems.
